Why we don't do “free estimates”?

The reason why we don’t do “free estimates” is two-fold. First of all, no estimate is ever “free”, and unfortunately, what we have found in our industry, is that many contractors who come out for free, try to spend as little time as possible with a homeowner just in case they “don’t get the job.” This means in many cases that not only do they miss the little things that make an “ok” job a great job, they also tend to miss the larger safety hazards that really should be looked after. It’s not because they don’t care, it’s because they are coming out for free and are rushing through their call with you in order to get to someone who’s actually paying for their time.

Secondly, we insist on being up-front about our pricing and how we work with our clients. This is why we charge a $59 fee and use up-front pricing that puts your mind at ease about the scope of any potential project.

Our History?

Since 1994, when John Finan started Finan Electric, he had envisioned a company that would lead the way in residential service and safety for its clients.

Since that first day, from the back of his family car, he has slowly and continually built a business on a reputation for top-notch service, while making safety a priority.

Today, Finan Home Service is proud to employ 11 people, have 4 of the most fully-stocked service vehicles in London and operate out of a 6000 square-foot facility.

Over the last few years, John has lead the company towards achieving the vision developed in 1994. As a result, Finan Home Service has evolved from the standard electrical contractor working in industrial/commercial settings on one call and high-end residential settings on the next, without any real focus or plan.

Finan Home Service now specializes in residential service, which means his team is trained, sensitive, competent and well-equipped at working in peoples' most precious environments - their homes.

Although most of our clientele are repeat and referral business and are certainly no strangers to our business practices and ethics, we invite you to look over our website to get an idea of how Finan Home Service can help you.
